So who's up for it? I've checked the official web site and here are the confirmed dates so far:

Kings Theatre, Glasgow - 14th to 19th of October
Festival Theatre, Edinburgh - 21st to 26th of October
His Majesty's Theatre, Aberdeen - 28th October to 2nd November
Alhambra Theatre, Bradford - 4th to 9th of November
Richmond Theatre, Richmond - 11th to 16th of November
The Oxford Apollo, Oxford - 18th to 23rd of November
The Bristol Hippodrome, Bristol - 25th to 30th of November
New Victoria Theatre, Woking - 2nd to 7th of December
Fairfield Park Lane, Croydon - 2nd to 5th of January
Regent Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent - 13th to 18th of January
Grand Opera House, Belfast - 20th to 25th of January
The Mayflower, Southampton - 27th of January to 1st of February
Milton Keynes Theatre, Milton Keynes - 3rd to 8th of February
Opera House, Manchester - 24th of February to 1st of March
Wycombe Swan, High Wycombe - 3rd to 8th of March
De Montfort Hall, Leicester - 10th to 15th of March
Theatre Royal, Brighton - 17th to 22nd of March

This is the 30th aniversary of the show, and should not be missed.

Sounds like fun

Bromley is easy to get to - you can get a fast train from Victoria to Bromley South that only takes about 15 minutes. The theatre is about a 5 minute walk away

The dates for Bromely are probably the only ones I could do after chatting to Gary

I'd definately be up for it if someone can provide me with a place to crash!!

I would say on date preference that we should scrap the december dates - it being far to close to that all so expensive time of year (I will NOT say the C word because it's only May and it's far to early to be thinking about it yet

)

We've gotta have a proviso though - EVERYBODY has to dress up!!!

Lioness A stranger is simply a friend you haven't met yet.

I could be up for this.. and would probably recommend the October dates as there isn't really much else happening at the beginning of October that I know of.

And of course we would have to dress up. It's no fun otherwise!

Most people would take the dressing up as a given but the point is EVERYBODY has to. We can't have most of us wandering round in hotpants and french maids outfits and skimpy underwear and one or two people in jeans and a T-shirt. Its not right

and as Lioness quite rightly says, it's no fun either!

Roxanne you are completely right - no character dress, no show!
For the shy ones there are quite a lot of characters that dress quite 'modestly' and for Sci-Fi con people even going in space costumes is cool - in fact some of the best costumes I've seen at shows have been the alien/sci-fi/space ones.

If it comes further oop north that would be cool too.

Just to reassure you tho luv - I went to my first meet on my own a couple of weeks back and I had a great time. Everyone was lovely to me and made sure i was ok so you'll be fine!!
