Just an FYI post - to date, 120 tickets have been sold
S3 Events - Destiny (Buffy) - CANCELLED
S3Events have announced and put their tickets onsale for their Buffy Convention called DESTINY next year.
The dates are: June 18th-20th 2004
Location: London (venue to be advised)
As of yet there are no guests announced.
For those that like to go with friends, it should be noted that the guest talks in the hall will be seated in blocks of ticket numbers ie batch 1-50 in a row (not in number order though so 1 could sit next to 49 - this is a vague example)
There is a cocktail party for the first 150 people - BUT this has nearly, if not already sold out (tickets have only been onsale for a few days too) costing:
Adult Ticket £83.80 (price includes a £3.80 booking fee)
Child Ticket £48.80 - NO UNDER 5's (price includes a £3.80 booking fee)
For more information on the event and to book tickets visit S3 Events Website

Subject: Destiny Announcement
Hi everyone,
At the moment I don't have proper internet access so can't update the website to reflect the below post, although I hope to within the next week, so if anybody could post the following onto any message boards they visit which may have Destiny attendees registered on it to let them know it would be much appreciated.
Our June 2004 event, Destiny, will not be going ahead. All attendees who have booked tickets will be contacted within the next few weeks hopefully through e-mail but if not then via regular mail to discuss refunds and getting their money back etc. If anybody has booked a ticket for the event and changed e-mail address from the one they booked with, can they please e-mail me at s3_events@hotmail.com so I have the correct one to contact you with.
I also want to apologise for the events of the last year. Not just the event itself but the way things have been handled since then. I know they've left a lot to be desired and I've pushed a lot of peoples patience to the limits. There is no excuse for that so I'm not even going to try to justify it. I know a lot of people seem to think I'm sitting on some tropical beach sipping cocktails spending
your money sitting gleefully at what has happened. This couldn't be further from the truth. When I started to organise The Harvest it was for one reason only, and that was I was a fan of the show. I think it's fairly obvious to everybody, myself included, that I took on too much and didn't ask for help when I needed it, or admit when I didn't know something or was wrong. Again I want to apologise to you all for what has happened and the way I have handled things. I'm also sorry it's taken 10 months for me to realise this.
If anyone has any questions please e-mail me at the Hotmail address. My internet access is really sparse at the moment so it may take me a week or two to reply to you.
Sincerely,
Pauline
Here's another update from Pauline, the organiser posted 30th June 2004 on the mailing list:-
I'm starting to send out the refund e-mails so everyone should have theirs by the start of next week. I apologise for the delay but I had to get a note of every
attendees e-mail, ticket booking details etc and it took a little longer than expected. I know some of the e-mail sent had problems getting to Hotmail accounts last year so if anyone hasn't had an e-mail by next Tuesday can they please contact me via the Hotmail addy
(s3_events@hotmail.com)
Pauline
I have tried to e-mail Pauline on the e-mail address given without success and wondered if anyone had any other contact details or ideas about how I could get my refund for Destiny tickets?
Welcome to the site, unfortunately I haven't seen any other information except that above. How long has it been since you emailed?
I don't know if anyone else using T21 booked tickets for this event. Jola might be able to point you in the direct of other boards where people are still discussing this.

Yes indeed if you go to Events Rescue there is a thread on there with people discussing these issues.
