Went to see this earlier in the week and it was quite good. It's been slated on IMDb and the likes but I thought it was a good film, plenty of action and it set itself up nicely for a sequel by leaving a couple of open-ended questions. Worth a watch

this is a good film despite bad reviews. the endin was a bit daft as they wudnt have had time to get to the emergency, but otherwise i really enjoyed it.

Finally got around to seeing this last night courtesy of dvd rental. It was a toss between renting this and Bad Boys2 (but I can wait a little longer for that)
Sitting there watching the opening helicopter scene and we are suddenly both pointing at the scene going wooooh that looks spookily like Jeremy Renner and dashing to find the box - and yes indeed it was. So glad to see he's up against the big boys in a mainstream film, my main concern was he'd end up dead in the opening credits or something
The pace of the film was spot on, Jackson and Farrell's characters really batted off each other. I thought the film was wearing down a bit towards the middle but when the *reward* video went out you could see all the dollar signs flashing and the pace really picked up with some fantastic shoot outs after that.
On the dvd I can see why they cut the deleted scenes But some of the gag reel stuff is really funny if a little brief unfortunately
