well what can i say about this? i really should have watched an advert or two or maybe a film review coz i started watching this with nooooooooo clue what i was to expect. and i cant say anything but WOW!

this film at first made me think i was going a bit nutty and with one scene i was so horrified with something that happened [but you dont see it actually happen natch] i was almost in tears but good god what a [expletive deleted] awesome film!
hats off to kutcher for his first serious film he was brilliant [but all the others were great too] a few people i know didnt believe he could do it [and have also questioned Amy Smart's presence] as all his past characters have all been silly but damn kudos to the boy and an executive producer too the boy has talents no one has tapped into yet and i am definitley now gonna be keeping an eye out for his films in future and will definitley be buying this when it's out.

definitley a new fave of mine and is continually being compared to Donnie Darko but the only thing they have in common is timetravel and it's dark feel and that's it, they are both great films and individual bags' of chips'

Excellent film tackles some tough subjects and was an emotional rollercoaster ride.

Not to do with the film but relevant Theres always that question of going back in time and killing Hitler, but would this have just made things worse.

Play Command & Conquer Red Alert and see the results, it's based on that exact premise. Essentially WWII happens about 20 years later between Europe and Russia.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago now, and I thought it was excellent!
I'd seen the trailers as well, and I was like WOW it's gonna be ace, 'cause I've always loved the idea of the butterfly effect and everything.
But then I read reviews and they were all like 'Oh Aston Kutcher is SO bad! He needs acting classes! HAW HAW HAW' but he was really good I thought. Probably just being stuck up 'cause of the change in genre.
But yeah I really really liked it. Some bits were really horrible, like the bit with Kayleigh's Dad (when I first saw him I KNEW he was a paedo! but I didn't think they'd actually carry on that storyline!) and then the scene with Evan's Dad. Scary scenes.
I thought it was really good the way Amy Smart's appearance changed each time as well, yeah it was all good. Sad ending I thought.
I was gonna say 'hmm makes you wonder', but I think about all that butterfly effect stuff all the time, so maybe it'll make other people wonder at least

Gotta say, I wasn't expecting much from an Ashton Kutcher movie, but damn was I pleasantly surprised! And I do like to be pleasantly surprised...

This film creeped the hell out of me, especially the little kid who played Anakin in The Phantom Menace (If you've seen it you'll know which character I mean... ) *shudders lots*

Not to mention Mr. Kutcher and Amy Smart being brilliant:

dont know if it's been pointed out yet as i cant be bothered to skim through the above but the boy who plays Tommy was also the kid that was possessed in Angel[I Got You Under My Skin]. he is DAMN scary!!!!

Loved this film. Thought that Amy Smart and Ashton Kutcher were both fab. Some of it disturbed me (but hey its every day life for some people ) and it really hit home how little things can actually change your future. I was pleasantly surprised by Kutcher's acting, as I've (and everyone else?) has only seen him play comic roles it was a welcome change. Give this film 8/10 and I may buy it or not, I am a bit too jumpy. The director seemed to be making a niche for teenagers to watch psyhological thrillers.
