Ello, ok I'm slightly confused I uploaded two pictures one as my profile piccy ie: a pic of moi...and the second one as a avatar now it looks like my profile piccy is now the piccy I wanted as my avatar

Sange, the profile picture is supposed to be the 'big' one, with the avatar being the small one, i think when the techies saw a tiny profile one, and a big avatar they thought they had been uploaded the wrong way round and switched them.
I will speak to the others but it might be easier to re-upload what you want, keeping i mind that your current profile pic might not be readable when its shrunk dow to 100x100
