Resident Evil flick
saw this today at the girlies house on pirate, got to say i was fairly impressed with it , its probably one of the best game to film crossovers, my onluy qualm qas it was a bit on the short side and not as gory as it could have been but meh it deserves at least 3.5 stars outa five.

I've not heard much about this film yet. Is it another CGI one like the Final Fantasy film?
I thought that one was great and shows just how much better the computer graphics artists are getting

No it's not CGI but it is to an extent SFX-driven. Has Milla Jovovich in (mmm)
I've only managed to see some pics and some very short clips from the new Slipknot video which is on the soundtrack...oh, and the trailer
It does look mighty good for a game conversion, though I do wonder if it could feasibly be stretched out enough for a full-on film experience. Just over an hour would probably be about right
Still, shall see

That said, I've noticed a great deal of interest in RE in the airsoft community, simply because of the presence of the H&K G36 in the film, possibly one of the most highly requested new airsoft guns...
