Dr Octopus would be good, but how about Dr Doom?

i'd like venom but that'd be a bit too early, so i think they may have 2 bad guys, proabably the lizard and dr octopus as they were very early villans or maybe the vulture.

I think that the Doctor Octopus and The Lizard are the right choice. They flow in the continuity of Marvel Lore pretty well and I think that's important.

Doc Ock and the Lizard sound good. Hopefully some lame ass like Electro does'nt show up unless they revamp him a whole lot and stay the hell away from the John Byrne costume.
Too bad the KingPin can't show up as he'll be in Daredevil.

With Raimi on board I wouldn't worry *too* much about the continuity from the comics...though there are some things that maybe might get tweaked to make the villains slightly more black & white in terms of evil (Doc Ock finding a cure for AIDS...think I've got that right, I'm rusty on history atm )

Maguire and Dunst both signed for 3 films apiece...anything beyond that is speculation...though I don't doubt there'll be more seeing the money that this one's raking in
