I really enjoyed this to be honest I WAS bored at first but Christian Bale kept me interested (mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) the fight scenes are totally awesome and there was much cheering from the audience in most of them.
Seeing the adverts I thought Matrix rip off straight away but once having seen it there are only fleeting similarites. Worth seeing though and I'm gonna buy it as soon as it comes out so I can learn the tai-chi like moves taught to the "agents" to fight with guns.
but again MmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmChristian
was thikng about seeing it, just for the new fighting style, aparently named gun-kata. but i think i will now, plus you know chris bale is just great! but not in a hot way...<---- i'm a bloke!

Well I thought it was pretty pants..the fight scenes were pretty good but the story dragged(a lot). Sean Bean's fleeting appearance was unexpected though. If I'm honest I enjoyed the trailers more than I enjoyed this film..especially the one for Just Married..I *so* have to see that.
Saw this too ...the plot is pretty derivative of a few sci-fi/fiction plots that have gone before it, however watching it the first time round (and not knowing exactly what the film was about - smart move on the part of the advertisers to *not* give too much away IMHO) I was able to keep interested. And yes the gunfights are frickin' awesome
Mind you...I watched it again today (took a friend who I knew would like it to see it) and I *did* notice that since I was only really there for the gunfights and the gunfights only that it did drag on a bit.
Soooooo...if that's all you're going to go see it for you might have to be patient. But if you go with an open mind to just absorb the story and take them as a bonus then I'd say a few people will be satisfied

I just saw it this afternoon and agree that it did drag up until the first real gun fight. Christian Bale is a very interesting actor though and kept my interest where others wouldn't have. I thought the plot reeked of 1984 and that swastika-like logo was very offputting, but the excellent fight scenes and slight twist with the kid meant I left the cinema smiling.
Overall I found it enjoyable, but maybe not enough for a second viewing. Time to visit the IMDb...
bipolar "Aurgh! Arugh jeeez!! NO! NO NINA! BAD NINA!"
my second visit would consist of listening to my walkman and drooling over CB until the first fight scenes ... then ill be drooling over those instead.

At the risk of sounding like Spike, are there any 'fit women' in it?
