Yes it IS happening (taken long enough)
Not going to be the greatest film ever (nothing tops Halloween 3 ) but hey, for a bit of popcorn slasher flick goodness should do quite nicely.
The release date is August 15th (probably States only, dunno about here) and the website is, imaginatively enough, http://www.freddyvsjason.com

I can't wait for this! I've been a Nightmare on Elm Street fan for as long as I can remember. But Freddy had better kick Jason's ass or I won't be happy!

Freddy is the ultimate ruler supreme! Ummm, or something.However I get the feeling that the 'good guy' humans are gonna win out in the end and kill both Freddy and Jason. Damn them!
