How frightening is that story?

Then again, there were rumours for years that Richard Marx' song Hazard was going to be turned into a feature and to the best of my knowledge it never happened so with luck Ms. Lavigne will have to content herself with polluting only the airwaves and not the silver screen as well.

Now that I would have liked to see. I thougth the story behind that song was quite intriguing and would actually make an okay plot for a film.

Sk8er Boi however doesn't seem a particularly inspired choice and by the looks of things they seem to be using it as an excuse to do an updated version of West Side Story

I don't see what's so wrong with it? The story in the song is a typically teen-romantic-comedy type story. We've seen it several times before.

I think the disdain being shown is because it's all based on an Avril song. And we all know how many Avril fans there are on the site...

Mainly based on her attitude more than anything else, I would go so far as to say.

Plus I really doubt she can act. But hey, if Britney can do a passable job I guess no reason Avril can't.

a) The attitude is only one as reported by the media (unless there's anyone on T21 who can count her as a close personal friend or family friend)

b) No one has yet said that Avril is actually going to star in the film. At the moment it's only based on her song.

If the media was falsely reporting these things that she's supposed to have said surely they'd get their wrists slapped by her management or whoever?

Meh. Anyway if they're going to make the film in the first place I can't imagine that she wouldn't at the very least cameo.

maybe they'll do films to all her songs and she can be the next stephen king of cameo appearances.

i dont hate her i dont like her either though but i remember singing along in a car to complicated speeding round the Loch Ness with 3 other guys who also knew aaaaaaaall the words.
