WHAT???? The Green Mile was not a feel-good film!!! It was almost as depressing as the book it was based on. And as for being tat

Woo-Hoo!!! Every film I voted for won! I'd like to thank...

And what's that about Green Mile? Pah! As much as I loved CTHD, Green Mile had me on the verge of tears, something only a handful of films has ever done. That kind of strength of emotional reaction is essential, to me, is judging the quality of the film. While I enjoyed and acknowledged the skill in making a film like CTHD, it had no comparable emotional impact on me.

I agree, Green Miles is an excellent film evoking the kind of emotions Jayjay alludes to.

It's ironic that the best Stephen King adaptations have been of his smaller, less well known work.

This JC you're referring to, was he accused of brutally killing two children? Or play a part in the murder of the actual killer? If so, that would be really spooky!
