I'm not quite sure why, it seems a bit irrational but I really didn't like him because it was like he was trying to control her and I firmly believe in free will. But I guess that's what the film was about. 
I wasn't too sure what to think of it either...I thought that it was funny in places (I loved the dog!!), although there was nothing that had be rolling around on the floor or anything. I might have to go and see it again to get a better idea of whether I liked it or not!
I thought that it was interesting to use the idea of the power of God as a theme...I thought it was great that the focus was placed on looking within yourself for help rather than up to God...coool idea
OK, so I got a bit deep there, so I'm just going to end by saying that I am going to be spending the holidays teaching my cocker spaniel to pee in the toilet
