July 11th

The In-Laws - Michael Douglas & Robin Tunney star in this action/comedy. Right before his daughters wedding, a mild mannered chiropodist(Albert Brooks) finds out that his new in-laws are international smugglers.

Whale Rider - A powerful drama set in New Zealand. It deals with a young girls stuggle for acceptance as Cheif of her tribe..a position that tradition states should only be held by a man. Screams chick flick to me but might be worth a watch.

Daddy Day Care - Eddie Murphy's latest comedy vehicle. Two men get laid off and have to become stay-at-home dads when they can't find jobs. This inspires them to open their own day-care center. Although the trailer made me laugh I'm pretty certain that this will be no Beverly Hills Cop.

July 18th

Buffalo Soldiers - With quite a few star names in it, this film is based in West Germany just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. A criminal sub-culture operates amongst the U.S soldiers until a new uncorruptible Seargant arrives and attempts to clean things up starting with Company Clerk Ray Elwood.

Hulk - Arguably the biggest movie of the month. A geneticist's experimental accident curses him with the tendency to become a powerful giant green brute under emotional stress. The latest in the long line of comic crossovers(Spiderman, Daredevil to name but 2) I'm not sure how good this will be. Defineltey worth watching though.

July 25th

Agent Cory Banks - A government agent trains Cory Banks in the ways of covert operations requiring younger participants. Your basic kids film(think Spy Kids) with Hilary Duff(she's a massive kids star in America). A sequel is planned already...share my excitment

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas - Animated adventure of the legendary Sinbad(voiced by Brad Pitt). Sinbad is on a quest for the powerful 'Book Of Peace' while trying to resist his attraction for his friends girlfriend Marina(Catherine Zeta-Jones).
