A film so good you have to pay twice?
What are the odds? Pretty slim in my opinion and anyone who's endured Jackie Brown will know why.
Odd that Harvey fought tooth and nail with Scorcese to keep the running time of Gangs of New York down (and what a mish mash that movie turned out to be) whilst he's willing to indulge Tarantino's mammoth running time by pulling this stunt.
A good three hour movie may be fine for audiences but they're bad for the industry because they limit the number of screenings a day which limits your potential first week gross and the amount of popcorn that cinemas can sell.
I'd have thought long and hard about whether I was willing to pay to see another self indulgent Tarantino movie before this, but now I intend to avoid like the proverbial plague.
