Here we are again, a new week (yes, I start my week at a funny time ) and i've got some new tidbits.

More Bondage

There have been lots of rumours about who would play the next Bond. The studios reportedly wanted someone younger to play the part (suggestions were Hugh Jackman, Eric Bana and Jude Law), to reinvigorate the franchise. Not so it seems.

Pierce Brosnan is definitely still going to be Bond in the next film, he's signed a new contract with MGM that covers Bond and a couple of other films. Brosnan is an excellent Bond, so i think this is very good news.

Popeye the Sailor Man

Kathy Bates has been signed up to do the voice of the Sea Hag/Siren in a new all-CGI Popeye film. Billy West (Ren & Stimpy) is doing the voice of Popeye.

Ra's Al Jinn

In more casting news, Liam Neeson has been cast in as yet unknown role in Batman: Intimidation. The rumour is he'll most likely be playing Batman's nemesis, Ra's Al Ghul. Don't take that as the written truth though, because things could change. He's definitely in the film, just a case of who he'll be playing.

Alongside greats such as Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine this is great stuff.
