Van Helsing: The London Assignment is a straight-to-dvd anime that chronicles Van Helsing's hunt for and battles with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Just watched this, and i have to say, it was pretty good. It's not feature length, coming in just under an hour, but it is well written, the voice acting (all done by the relevant film-actors) is all very good and although i'm by no means any sort of expert on anime, i thought the animation was pretty good. I certainly liked the style it was drawn in, very atmospheric.

All in all, a nice addition to the Van Helsing franchise. They are creating a similar dvd-only anime for the Chronicles of Riddick, seems The Animatrix started a trend.
