Really looking forward to this movie. The series is brilliant but I really wonder if and how it translates to a 2 hours movie. If they are able to pull it off and really get the format of the tvshow onto the big screen it might be as big a revolution to cinema as the Matrix (the first one). But that is a big if! Worst case scenario would be it doesn't translate that well to the big screen and you end up with an okayish movie (nothing new) which would still be better than most of the stuff I've seen lately!

One has flashbacks of the Monty Python and the Holy Grail PC game, which had on option on the main menu reading 'Watch the Film'. Clicking on it showed the entire film compressed into the space of about 30 seconds.

thats almost as bad as the "hard of hearing" option on the holy grail DVD...
