Warner Brothers yesterday announced to the world that the sequel to Batman Begins will be named The Dark Knight. Not only is that a great title, but they also announced that Heath Ledger will play The Joker.

Now, i love the title, no two ways about that. It really reminds you of the film's comics origins, and i'd love to have seen 'The Adventures of Superman', 'Amazing Spider-Man' or 'Uncanny X-Men'. Rumour is the next Hulk film will be called 'The Incredible Hulk' so maybe it's a trend, who knows?

I'm not so sure about Ledger as Joker, but he's a quality actor and the casting was spot on in the first film, so i'll give it a go.
