That was a toughy!! Had to choose between Superman Returns and Pirates 2 as both were superb films in my book. Eventually went for Superman Returns and it just had that something extra which brought back great memories of Superman from my childhood

Went for POTC2. Superman Returns was ok. Would have gone for X3 *but* I wasn't a big fan of the way they took the Phoenix storyline and the fact they killed of so many characters.

POTC2, not as good as the first though.

POTC2 got my vote too 'cos I haven't seen the others (and have no urge to either).

I went for Superman Returns. I loved both that and POTC2 (haven't seen any of the others), but I think Superman just about edged it. Partly because POTC2 didn't quite manage to live up to the first film, so there was a slight feeling of disappointment. Where as it's been a long time since there's been a Superman film, and even longer since there was a good one (though I do seem to be one of the few people who likes Superman 3, but Superman 4 just plain sucks), so it was just a feeling of... COOL!!

Another vote for Pirates, despite it being an hour too long. The first hour could have been snipped entirely, but once they all join ship in Tortuga it flows pretty well, and good surprise ending. (Albeit one that makes no sense whatsoever, but then, this is a franchise concerned with undead buccaneres.)

i also didnt like the way they killed off so many characters in X-3, and took the powers off even more. however at the end they did emply that they could get there powers back for another sequal. it wouldnt be the same without the sly insults between wolverine and cyclops though. in the end none of them got my vote because i figured they all could have done better. there arent that many films coming out that i would go and see either. casino royal looks rubish, and i dont really do kids films. the only ones i have seen trailers for that i would actually watch are transformers and tenacious D the pick of destiny. they just look funny!
