Updated: The Dark Knight's new suit! and Bat Pod (Cycle!)
Entertainment Weekly has a new feature with The Dark Knight's costume designer, Lindy Hemming, and an exclusive picture of the new improved Batsuit. They've made definite improvements. For instance, the head is now totally free to move around. But i'm not sure about all the stylised lines and grooves in the suit.
It's nice, maybe just a tad OTT.

After updating my original post with the Bat Pod links, i've got some thoughts.
In Begins, I loved the Batmobile. It seemed real. A fearsome, menacing tank of a vehicle that had all the tricks Batman needed, yet (like everything else he had), they presented it in a way that grounded it in the world.
I like the look of the Bat Pod too. It's clearly designed to be part of a 'tech family' with the Batmobile, adding to the mythos of the world. Good stuff.
