Karate Kid is back!
Sony is doing a new Karate Kid!!!!
For me, and lots of guys my age, the three Karate Kid films (The Next Karate Kid doesn't really count) are seminal films, full of macho testosterone and violence while being totally cool. Great soundtracks and cool montages ahoy.
Anyway, Sony are doing a new one. It's a remake and will start Will Smith's son Jaden as the Karate Kid. Lots of people are hoping they can get Ralph Machio to play the Miyagi role. That would be sooooo cool!
