Dead Like Me Movie
Maybe its me, but this came out of nowhere. February will see the release of a straight-to-DVD Dead Like Me movie.
The show which ran two seasons, ended in 2004. The new film "Life after Death" features most of the character from the original series, with the exception of lead reaper Rube (Mandy Patinkin). Also, also Daisy (originally Laura Harris) has been recast due to availability.
The film tells the story of the intruduction of Rube's replacement, the very different Cameron, played by Henry Ian Cusick (Lost's Desmond).
Bryan Fuller, who worked on the original show, but not the movie has suggested that a similar project may be filmed for just cancelled Pushing Daisies to finish its story arc.
