Techie Help Needed Please
My Yahoo Mail Inbox seems to be corrupt!! Everything else on Yahoo works ok apart from when I try to log onto mail.... this is a sample of what I get when the page loads:-

And it's like that for the whole of the web page.... it was working fine one minute then it went like that.
Does anyone have any idea how to rectify it before I pick the PC up and throw it out of the window!!!!

Not one of my strong points, but if you've deleted your cache (and I would suggest deleting all off-line content as well if you didn't select that option) then try a different browser.
I could be that something relating to that part of the site is still on your PC and a different web browser (Mozilla, Firefox or Opera) may behave differently.

Tried that too and it didn't work either......

Not really techie at all, but when I have problems with websites I either try CTL & F5
OR
Find that it's NTL having a ding dong and in that case I change the server I'm using in tools, internet options and connection and LAN settings to whatever I fancy on this list instead of using automatically detect settings

Aha!! Bingo!!
Thanks Sam..... that's what is now causing my problem with Yahoo.
A while ago I had problems accessing Events Rescue and Stoo sorted it for me by posting this.
However, the servers went down on Events Rescue the other day and when they came back up I couldn't access the site again until I reverted back to normal operation with no explicit web proxy.
But.... when I did that it completely threw out my Yahoo Mail
I went back to how it was, and can now access my Yahoo Mail, but not Events Rescue at the same time
So does anyone have any idea how I can now access both without any problems?

I thought it sounded familiar ... erm the only suggestion is try a few servers and see if you can access both things.
At the moment I'm back on "automatically detect settings" but if I ever have problems I use
cache2-blfs.server.ntli.net
I think Deano suggested it once (not sure if the Belfast servers have less messing about with or something )
