Whoooh! Yoda vs Dark Vader
Soul Calibur meets Star Wars!!
Namco-Bandai's Soul Calibur has previously featured bonus characters such as Nintendo's Link (from The Legend of Zelda, as if you didn't know) and Heihachi Mishima from Namco's own Tekken series.
1up.com has exclusively revealed that the bonus characters in Soul Calibur IV will featured... Darth Vader and Yoda!
At first glance, that seems pretty bizarre, but is it any more bizarre than Link? Nope. And Star Wars characters have featured in beat em ups before, such as Masters of the Teras Kai (sp?).
The character models look pretty sweet, and it'll be interesting to see how they play. After buying the license, you ca damn sure bet that other characters (Darth Maul anyone?) will be available as downloadable content for an extra penny or two.

Yoda is exclusive to the 360 version and Darth Vader is exclusive to the PS3 version.
