I got the thought in my head that a good sequel that will probably never see the light of day:(quotes)What ideas can you come up with for daft sequels to classic movies? The more ridiculous, the better.

It's a Wonderful Life 2: It's The End!

George Bailey (George Clooney) receives an urgent SOS from his old friend Clarence (Max von Sydow). It seems that Clarence absent-mindedly left Gabriel's horn lying around where someone could swipe it.

And they have. Which, of course, could mean the end of the world as we know it if someone decides to try to play a tune on it.

Hopefully, the Other Side haven't found it yet.

It wouldn't do to have any other angels notice, and since Clarence never got an assignment right before he got his wings and has been strangely left out of any interesting missions afterwards, there's no-one else he can turn to.

It's down to George and Clarence to tool up, hit the road and maybe even venture to Hell and back before Mary's apple pie gets cold!

Brigadoon 2: Beck to the Future

When the unspoilt little highland village returns for its one day in the 21st century, the inhabitants find to their horror that a scheming developer wants to plough up their old hillside for the siite of an overpriced holiday pleasuredome!

Can wholesome '50s man Tommy (John Barrowman) overcome his angst as the realisation of what he's let himself in for hits him, and save the hills for future generations in just one day?

Featuring songs by Alan Menken and Elton John.

The Ruling Class 2: Like Father Like Son
Years pass, and Jack jr. (Robert Downey jr.) is now a grown man with aspirations of journeying into politics, joining UKIP and quickly rising through the ranks as their new figurehead and media darling. But what his colleagues don't know is that, like his dad before him, his sanity is questionable to say the least. He is secretly dominated by personalities including Robert Kilroy-Silk, Alan Rickman and Avid Merrion, until psychiatric intervention (supposedly curing him) instead convinces him that he is Jack Bauer, infamous anti-terrorist government agent - creating untold chaos as the national election approaches...

Meet Joe Black 2: We'll Meet Again

It's now several years since the events of the original film, and "Joe" and his lovely wife are living the American Dream with her recently deceased father's legacy, awaiting the imminent birth of their first child.

All's well until Death reappears. Apparently, he rather enjoyed his last holiday, and since the job's becoming a grind again, he'd like to take another one. Maybe even set up a timeshare arrangement every so often.

Joe manages to convince him that this isn't such a great idea and that he'd get a fresher experience from choosing someone else. But Death asks Joe mind the proverbrial shop whilst he's away.

Since Joe doesn't even remember Death's first outing, things get surreal very quickly.

Co-starring Russell Crowe as War, Rhys Ifans as Famine and Jason Lee as Pestilence.

Reservoir Dogs 2: Reservoir Pups

Having had something of an epiphany following a near-death experience in hospital, Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) is doing his best to stay on the straight and narrow.

A model prisoner fresh out on parole, he finds himself doing volunteer work at the local youth centre, where he lectures the kiddies on how to avoid the path he took - and catches the affectionate eye of the youth leader (Monica Potter) in the process.

But there's something about to shatter this idyll, as the local authorities withdraw funding for the centre - and Mr. Pink's young charges urge him to take them on for one last job, to find their funding one way or... well... the other.

With a chance to impressive the girl of his dreams but wreck everything he and she stand for, will he or won't he?

The Sixth Sense 2:

Cole (Haley Joel Osment) is now a comparatively well-adjusted, intelligent youg man, trying to work his way through university. He's still at ease with his deceased associates, and periodically finds himself sorting out one supernatural mess or another.

He has two room mates: Gary (Jamie Bell), a hard-partying exchange student, and Carl (Max Minghella), the leather-clad, Brylcreemed ghost of an aspiring frat boy who choked on his own vomit in the corridor's toilets during his initiation.

The year is going as normal when the naked body of a female student is found in the campus swimming pool. And then another under the stands at the baseball diamond. And another stuffed in the bins behind the bar.

With campus under terrified lockdown, Cole may be the only person who can unmask the killer - if he can find and talk with the victims before the killer finds him. And if that note under his door was anything to go by, the killer is looking.

Cole attempts to confide in his personal tutor (Kevin Kline) - but is the fatherly coincern more sinister than it seems?

Watch out for the scene with the cheerleader and the chainsaw.

Face/Off 2:
The long-lost twin brother of Castor Troy (Nic Cage) has set up shop in the UK with an ingenious front for his criminal activities: surgically switching faces with Saturday night TV presenter Graham Norton (himself) for the perfect disguise for his crime sprees.

Naturally, the FBI in a joint investigation with the British authorities yank Sean Archer (John Travolta) out of retirement and have him switch faces with up-and-coming presenter John Barrowman (himself) to foil the dastardly plot.

But havoc ensues when the celebrities wake from their drug-enduced comas, seizing the identities of their imposters and go out for revenge...

The Day After Tomorrow 2:
A long time has passed since the events of the first movie - Sam Hall (Jake Gyllenhaal - albeit aged through special effects) has settled down in what passes for the world and now has a son of his own (Shaun Ashmore), close to Sam's age when the Second Ice Age first came about.

But nuclear experiments from the fanatical remains of the old superpowers have melted the frozen wastes, causing huge fatalities as the recovering population flees the floods. But Sam and son find a mysterious stranger (Kevin Costner), frozen in the ice until recent events thawed him out, who has a plan to build a modern day Ark to carry the survivors to rumoured "Dry Land"...
