Starfury "End of Days" Angel convention
During the weekend of BG/WB Starfury began to sell tickets to convention go-ers only in anticipation for next years Angel convention "End of Days"
Rumoured to be a big Angel event (no guests announced yet) the dates have been given as 2-4 May 2003 with the venue as the Norbreck Castle Hotel in Blackpool

I thought that I'd have a huge problem getting my ticket as I've moved house since I signed up at Bad Girls, but I guess I was thinking ahead since I gave my parents address and they sent it on to me

OK, i want to stay at the norbrek 'cos i love staying the the con hotel. and if i dress up i dont want to be walking around blackpool looking like a freak. not to mention that i often dont get to bed before 4am and need afternoon naps hich would be 4 trips to a B&B per day.
BUT!
1) I dont have £100 to spair on my cards right now to put a deposit down.
and 2) I dont want to pay £100 a night (thats for a double)
So, does anyone want to share a double. maybe get 4 in there so it'll be £25 per person per night (£100 for the 4 nights)? we can take turns on the floor.
And if someone can book the room I'll send a 1/4 of the deposit to you.
So, Morph? Syd? Anyone? Please. I'll be your best friend

I had a hard enough time at the Heathrow park getting to the party hall with an elizabethan dress with a train and 3 inch heals. Not to menation getting back to the room at 5.30 being a bit

Basically the Norbreck is on one corner and you just cross a little road and the Mallory is on the next corner - its about a two minute walk

I'm not sure if its true - but someone once said that getting from some of the b&bs to the main hall was closer than getting from some of the Norbreck hotelrooms to the hall .....
I guess we won't know till we get there.
But the B&B wins it hands down as its a lot cheaper and it sounds like the variety is better than the choice of overflows that some of the London hotels would need.

After much indecision I've finally sent of the form to book my ticket!

(i'd go for somewhere else as long as it isnt too far. have never been to blackpool tho so i have no idea on distances etc)
I cant book the Norbrek yet but the rooms dont exactly seem to be selling like wildfire so we have time.

Hi girlies
I'be heard that rooms both at B&B's and the Norbreck are selling out fast. since B&B's seem to be charging £30 pp i've decided to book the norbreck before it's too late. (thanks to mummy and her nice shiny credit card)
