Yeah, Syd's right...Tom Lenk had a guest spot as one of Harmony's minions in Season 5 of Buffy and it was from that that they called him back for the part of Andrew.
Slightly confused but how do you spoil a show that's finished both it's satellite and terrestrial runs??

eh? season 5? Buffy season 5? otherwise I think you've just dropped a spoiler
Cause I was wondering if it was an Angel season 5 spoiler - as I haven't heard ANYTHING or watched any of it yet
Update from the Starfury Boards:-
Just a quick update on what's going with STARFURY at the moment.
With New Year and Christmas, things slowed down a bit, but now that they are out of the way it's back to business! Expect the STARFURY website to have a major overhaul within the next few weeks, and to be updated to reflect all guest additions.
As many of you are aware, Nicholas Brendon and Jewel Staite have agreed to be guests at FUSION, joining Clare Kramer, Elizabeth Anne Allen, Juliet Landau, Nathan Fillion, Tom Lenk, Sarah Hagan, James Leary, Gina Torres, Nickolaus Brown and Nicole Bilderback.
Morena Baccarin has also agreed to attend FUSION, subject to acting work commitments.
There are still a few BUFFY guests I'm awaiting responses from, and once I'm all cleared with them then the website can be fully updated.
Currently three quarters of the tickets for FUSION have been sold.
Regards -
Sean Harry
Hi - I'm heading to Fusion in April, with a couple of friends, and have never been to a Buffy convention before.
To find out more (and to feed the excitement) I've been surfing the web looking for people who've been to previous events, as I'm hoping to find out more about what it's gonna be like, and hopefully make a load of new like-minded friends.
Can anyone tell me what the conventions are really like?
And would anyone be willing to meet up with some Convention-Newbies and help us fit in? I promise that we're not freaks...

Does that mean you've been to other cons? If so, most of the usual things apply - bring bottled water, snacks etc.

The Starfury ones are a lot of fun. The audience in talks tends to be fairly irreverent and ask lots of "interesting" questions. There's also a lot of emphasis on the evening parties. You also sometimes find guests wandering round the bar or the dance floor - Sunday night at Senior Partners, I was about to point out to some guys joining on at the end of the line for Time Warp that it was a bit crowded at that end when I realised I had Steve Carlson next to me and Stephanie Romanov opposite me!
That said, a lot will depend on what your priorities are like for the con. For example, three friends at SG-6 were getting up each morning at 5.30am to ensure they were at the head of the queue for the main hall each day. When they asked if I'd be joining them for that, my answer was quite unrepeatable without violating T21's code of conduct! Instead, I spent the previous evenings getting wasted with other friends at the parties.
Thanks for the friendly emails and responses I've been getting - will definitely be keeping an eye out for people!
If you fancy coming over and engaging us in conversation, then there are various (somewhat rather unusual in some RP-cases) photos of what I look like on my homepage, taken from roleplay events and parties. But you'd be better off looking for Chris in our group - he bears a rather striking resemblence to Spike (and will undoubtedly be dressing up as such for the Saturday Disco!)
Am very excited about going now - just need to try and get the Yahoo site to accept me on the Starfury Boards...

Hi and welcome to T21 Glad to see new faces finding us
If you go via the starfury website there are 2 ways of communicating, the yahoo group and/or the message board. I've tended to stick to the yahoo group as at least you get what updates there are directly by email on that without having to trudge about. Of course any updates we will always post on here
Unfortunately I can only (barely) afford Hyperion this year, so Fusion is out of the window. All I will say is that the Norbreck is a very big place and putting 2000 people in it doesn't make it feel any smaller. Best thing you can do is get to the event the night before and pick up your con pack asap to get a general feel for the schedule (which will always have minor changes in) Generally carrying a bit of food and drinks around is always handy for queuing purposes. If you want to see the chats, be prepared for those people willing to sleep early (or not at all) to be in the hall real early.
Don't forget that photo shoots are the first things of the day so do set your alarm after a hard night to give yourself time to get pretty without rushing like a loon
I know its hard but try not to go ga-ga near the guests - especially at the parties. None of them have the right to be stalked with cameras, always judge this carefully and don't take liberties. People seem to forget that they are one person among the masses at an event like this. There are always great opportunities for casual distant shots (good camera required!) Autos are always very swift (they have to be) so just smile sweetly, say hello and you'll get the same in return
The guest talks are fantastic if you can get to the majority They give a huge insight into the guests themselves. It has to be pointed out though that guests won't recall episode titles or complete details of shows - we're the nerds who note all the tiny bits, not them
But remember to enjoy it You may have to feel like you are planning an army weekend (in Ming's case he'll probably have guns ) but it's only one whole long weekend

Aha. A rubber sworder! So we should be on the lookout for a blue elf?

Anyway, FWIW, just dug up a brief pre-con checklist I sent someone else a while back:
Booze if you don't fancy paying hotel bar prices. Plus a bottle opener... [If you exit the Norbreck, turn left and left again, walk a short distance down the road there's an off license round there. The proprietor was most amused when we walked in during EoD to stock up!]
Snacks - chocolate bars, biscuits etc. and bottled water or other drink. You'll probably be sitting in the main hall for extended periods.
More substantial food if wrinkled clingfilm wrapped sandwiches, hotel restaurants or McDonalds don't appeal. [Actually, no McDs nearby that I'm aware of but a short distance from the offie mentioned above is a passable chippie]
Fair bit of cash for photo tickets, dealers' room, food & drink etc. I think it's quite a way to nearest ATM.
Lots of film or a big memory card, depending on what sort of camera you have. I've got rather snap-happy since I put a 256Mb card in my camera!
Chargers for mobile, digital camera etc.
Small backpack or similar to carry your stuff around.
Whatever personal items you want to get signed - I keep forgetting those.
Mobile numbers for all your friends at the con.
Notepad or PDA to record names and contact details for people you meet.
Big carrier bag or enough space in your luggage for all the stuff you're likely to buy...
A good night's sleep before the con as you are unlikely to get much during it.
Also, just to clarify what Sam just posted, the guns she says I'll probably have are merely airsoft replicas! I am a devotee of low-effort costumes, uniforms usually fit the bill and the guns make useful props
I see that Morena Baccarin from Firefly is going now too #drool# She' is so DAMN sexy ! I HAVE to make sure i'm going now
One of the buffy guests I actually haven't seen *double sniffle* hopefully there's another next time
<expletive> A!!!! Wow, that's great news!!
