Yep. Yvonne mentioned seeing a 2/3 o'clock showing. That way gives people time to get ready for whatever happens in the evening, and those that arrive later can join in the Pleasure Beach / Pub crawl / whatever

There's a group of around 30 people going to see the 9pm showing at the Odeon. You guys are welcome to join us

Why does no-one keep me in the loop

Not sure what time we're turning up yet depends on Len and dropping off Georgia - but should be there for the Pleasure Beach in the evening if peeps are still doing that?

Don't worry aobut not being in the loop, I'm not. I just leave it up to my social secretary to arrange. He also make a blinding cup of Tea.

There's a few of us on the train from London arriving (at station) at about 2.40pm.

I myself am going to the Odeon that night, but any activities arranged for earlier would be greatly enjoyed.

See earlier coment about pre-arranged plans. And i didn't know there was a 'loop' to be a part of - shows what i know lol

There isn't a loop so to speak - the 9pm odeon trip was arranged on the Starfury egroup.

I haven't heard much, but I was under the impression that depending on arrival times of trains from London etc, that it would be quieter to hit X2 mid afternoon and then head out to the pleasure beach after and the kareoke/pub place after that.

But then there are *so* many people/groups going that it is down to personal choice.

As Peg said, there is no 'loop'. Someone asked me if I wanted to go see X2 and next thing I knew there was a ticket booked for me

I for one am always in favour of 'the more the merrier'

I'm up for the Pleasure Beach - I've not even seen X-Men so no point in me seeing the second movie

I'm getting to the station just after 4 so I'm going to wander to the hotel and get myself sorted. After that got not much in the way of plans although I'd like to see X2 but could always wait until after the weekend.

Dan and i are crashing the X2 trip - just booked tickets for it.

I'm doing whatever Yvonne tells me too - figured it was easier to let myself be bossed about - I know that Pleasure Beach, X2 and Karaoke are floating about in the mix, but have no idea exactly in what order...

I've just spoken to Yvonne and we have *finally* settled on a plan of action

14:00 showing of X2 at the Odeon. If anyone would like to join us I will be booking tickets tomorrow - let me know if you want me to get you one.

After the Movie we'll be finding something to eat in one of Blackpools many fine eateries and then heading off to the pleasure Beach for as long as we can take the thrills.

One Idea for post Pleasure Beach Drinking is The Crazy Scots Karaoke bar on Rigby Road (Just off the main Promenade) Its about Half way between the Pleasure Beach and the town centre so it is on the way back to the hotel and its cheap, has no dress code and teh stag and hen parties tend to stay away from it (Plus they have THE best collection of songs I've ever seen at a karaoke night!)

The only part of this that is set in stone is seeing X2 after that any times or locations could apply
