That would have been interesting - gutted its the same weekend as the London Rocky Horror event though and that's a little nearer and more different than the usual cons

I'm gutted. There's no way i can afford another buffy/angel con next year.

Had a look at the website and forums..it's not exactly very *looks for word* slick...I'd be a bit worried about handing money over to people who's website advertising the product is so sparse.

It does say on the welcome message on the forum that the site is in the process of being completed - they were keen to get the forum up and running so that people could start discussing I guess

True, and I'd have to say I'm not having a dig at them...it just seems very amateurish to me but I hope I'm wrong..the guests they've announced actually make me think about doing this and going to my first con...well a little bit

The website itself is still down but the forums are still running - ticket prices have been announced on there.

Here are the statements issued on ticket prices and what is included:-

Our Gold Passes include the following:

You will be picked up from Aberdeen Airport and transported to the Hotel which is a stones throw from the venue, where you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will escort you to reception and will present you with your registration folder for the convention, so you can peruse it while you unpack and freshen up.

That evening you will enjoy a three course meal sitting at a table with a star of your choice (strictly on a first come first choice basis). You have guaranteed reserved front row seats for the entire weekend, so no camping out hoping for a good seat.

Saturday evening you are invited to a cocktail party where you can mingle and chat with the stars, whilst enjoying a buffet. Also there will be bonus treats that only our gold passes will experience???!!!!! While attending both evening events you will have the opportunity to have a professional 8x10 portrait with each of our headline stars which we will mount and frame so you can hang them on your wall as a memory of your weekend.

On all three nights you can make use of the VIP private area within the disco, which we have set aside for our stars but we cannot guarantee that stars will appear but if they do you will be in the right place to see them. You will receive a
free autograph from each of the guests on our official Hush photo.

A Hush t-Shirt

A Hush goodie bag.

Then on the Monday you will be transported back to the airport in plenty of time for you to catch your plane home.

This includes 3 nights accomodation!!

It sounds all very professional with the different seating arrangements and the added bonuses for gold and silver seating. All the guests would have appealed to me as I haven't seen all the troika yet, nor Iriya. Tony is always a great guest but I couldn't have afforded many cons this year (struggling with just the one so far)

However, £125 for a bronze/basic ticket makes that even more impossible with travel and hotel on top as its twice the price of previous cons I've attended

to be honest if i hadn't already signed up for Hyperion and Fusion I would be very tempted by the Gold ticket arrangement it sees good value for everything that you get. Oh well. if i win the lottry i guess

Looks like I might be going to this one Some friends of mine (not from here) are talking about it and it's getting tempting to pop back to Aberdeen again.

Common Rotation will be doing an acoustic set so that means Eric has now been announced to join Adam
