Subject: Convention latest

Dear all,

Despite having three confirmed guests (and we have correspondance from Steven Sears, John D'Aquino and Marcus' representative to prove it), ticket sales are currently way too slow.

We have contacts with agents for at least three more guests, all Xena related and Philippa had a fruitful conversation face to face with a potential guest from New Zealand whilst over there.

We start having to pay certain bills come April. So, basically the future of this convention is in the hands of the punters.

We can keep registrations open until 25th March. If the numbers have not significantly improved by then, this convention will sadly have to be cancelled (and if that happens all those who have signed up so far will get a refund).

Therefore this particular convention will be cancelled. Refunds to all of those of you who did register will be in the post, as soon after the Easter weekend as
possible.

Good news - we are quietly putting together stuff and lining up guests for TIMESCAPE, a time travel themed convention next Spring (date TBA).

Also one or two local Bristolians and others are putting together three 'Watchers nights' in Bristol over the next months; something nice to watch on the screen, raffle, auction of memorabilia and tv theme tune quiz.

Tickets for this will be £3.50 in advance and £5 on the door. We're still sorting out a venue.
