What a top weekend!

I remember Velvet Glove stressing out at the bar cos the DJ wasn't playing the right kind of music, but then I pointed out all the people dancing on the dancfloor.

I'm really sorry I missed Milky Spears on Friday night, but the piccies look great. However it did give me the opportunity to check out 'REFLEX' the 80s bar, cheers to Rally & Yvonne for joining me for some late night boogiein (and general drunkieness) "Who ya gonna call .... Ghost KEBAB!!! busters ...."

Saturday was cool for many reasons. I bought a cool top (though it didn't go with ma kilt), joined Rally, Byron, Nutty & Cat for the best food I've ever had over a meet/con weekend! All you can eat for a fiver WOOHOO! & 3 rounds of Happy Birthday thrown in for good measure!

The party was great fun - As usually, the time went double quick, so didn't get to speak to as many people as I wanted to, but:

Good to blether to you again FG's mum, pity we only do it every 2 years.
Nemesis - Cheers for being 'Sexeeeeeeee' with me on the dance floor.

Finally, a week after the actual event, I've gotten around to posting. Desperately need to say thank you soooooooo much to all the organisers! Oh, and VG, great to finally meet you after all that time of nattering away in chat! It'd be easier to list those I'd met before last weekend than the all the new faces but I'm a lazy student with nothing better to do so here goes:
KatieStar, LittleWitch, Taz (my hot lesbian babes!) Koala, Milky, Cat, DangerMouse (you thought I was blonde!?) FG, CoolKat (& parents) Whistler, Red, Beth, George, Mini-G, Tree, Maff, Sarah, Persephone(!!!), Wo (I saw you!) Guffer, Gopher, Pooks, Miss Edith and Spike and I'm afraid that's all I can remember right now! Poke me in the ribs if I've forgotten you! And that was just the new faces!
Some of the weird happenings: Supersoakers filled with all sorts of drinks, room parties all over the place, HLA(tm) in room 200 (), spooning, banging on walls and panting down phones, falling asleep in bathrooms (and in beds with virtual strangers), "you spin me right round baby, right round, like a rollercoaster" hehe, Purple Drag Queens, shopping, Pink PoF () and the Pink Lady in Primark, waxing strips, two phones, drunk people! Evil people who don't dance and just hide behind cameras (you know who you are!!)

Roll on 2004 and I'll try to make a nos soon!

Well it took me a long time but my post finally made it here after being lost twice, I decided to type it in Word and copy it over. You’d think I’d have learned the first time.

Firsty, apologies if I miss anyone out!

I had a great weekend, especially Friday night it was great to be able to kick back and relax and be so entertained! I particularly liked “Wanted, Dead or Alive” by DM featuring Noid’s new hat, Britney done ‘Milky-style’ I’ll not forget that in a hurry and Skunk Guy’s rendition of…whatever that was.

Saturday morning was spent being tied to a chair… and not in a good way…. So thanks for that

Managed to spend time with lots of people on Saturday day time too, playing silly word games with Gobstopper – keep that squeaker well back, JtB – man of few words but still wins, Whistler – same wavelength or what?? Cat – not bad considering that hangover hon Rally – who tried very hard to improve Cat’s geography but I’m afraid she was having none of it. Oh and VG – who can’t count

It was a pleasure to meet Persephone and sis, so glad you made the effort and had a good time. Also thanks for coming as I suspect if you hadn’t been there Wobag wouldn’t have made his appearance at all!

FG & CoolKat and respective mums – a pleasure as always and thanks so much for saving me from yet *another* guitar shopping day

Katiestar who I have met before I promise - you were prolly too drunk to remember Nutty-Bat who was wearing a great skirt, Spike who I always find …‘entertaining’ and Miss Edith who must have the patience of a saint Also Pretty-in-Pink-Pof who was by far the fluffiest guest, G who has a new tattoo every time I see him, mini-G and Beth who it was good to meet, MissKitty, Funky Monkey & Sydney who I live actually really close to but hardly ever spend time with, Tycho my MCoG supplier and Tree who was really… tall Taz, LW and Emmy who had cool pants, Master and squonk ( I got it eventually!) Ishtar who looked great on Saturday night, Koala, DM and Milky – evil, the lot of you – and Milky you do realise that from now on every time I hear Tiffany I’m gonna think of you? I’m not sure that’s really a good thing?! Dan and Watcher Girl – glad you made it hon, Guffer, it was good to put a face to the name!

Big BIG thanks to everyone who helped out from doing posters, blowing up balloons, lending twister mats, to shopping on Saturday for all the things we didn’t get a chance to buy, checking out hotels in the initial planning stages, the staff at the James Brindley who were super-cool – all the T21 staff *hugest hugs*

Apologies for the people who couldn’t make it due to the short notice – It won’t happen again.

Thanks for the DJ who rang in sick with half an hour to go, and to the stick-in-the-mud-night-security chap in the hotel. Honourable mention to Abassi, who managed to screw up my hotel reservation even though I rang 5 times to confirm things were okay – no offence but I really think you need to consider a career change *re*

A masterpiece of a night. Twas great to see peeps too. Mucho kudos to the organisers who did an outstanding job.

Just a couple of shouts. Mini-G, who cant get online, but I'm sure he will agree with me when I say it was a great night. Red & Beth, my slavery will cost you both dearly, oh yes . And also a congrats on the amount of money raised for Comic Relief to Spike, who without him my nails would have stayed normal .

Also it wouldn't be right to not give a mention to Nazi Stormtrooper Jim, the night watchman. The man on a mission.....to send everyone to bed!

After getting the text that there was HLA(tm) in Room 200, I was a bit miffed to only see PoF there, to which I then find out it is next door in 202!! Milky, you dirty wench!

All in all, a superb event, oh, and Tam/VG...I'm holding you to next year! Sorry if I missed names, but I'm still not totally with it (Like I ever am!)

I have now lost Chambler back to the Netherlands, I took him back to the airport this afternoon so I have some time to post up my thoughts about last weekend.....

W O W

Thanks everyone for making it a brilliant weekend! This is going to sound a bit like an Oscar acceptance speech so I will try to keep it short

As Tam has already said, thanks to the people with the Twister mats, the Saturday shoppers for party stuff, the staff for being there when needed & helping to decorate the room, hand out tickets, tick off names, give out badges, help on the door etc etc etc... even if I did have to yell at Julz & Noid a second time to come in & help the rest of us *grin*

Friday night was perfect relaxation & frolicky fun for me as I didn't do a bit of anything I was just shepherded towards a taxi, bundled in & dropped outside the pub for a night of fun & entertainment - it was flipping excellent! My memories of that night will stay with me - for a long time! What was Skunk-Boy on? He had a fantastic range but he was sort of an opera wanna-be I think! He could have covered for all 4 of those famous 4 opera singer guys. He was doing really well then sent both Stoo & I grabbing for our glasses to stop them shattering when he hit that extremely high note!!! The we get to the Milky goodness that was purple Britney Fab colour choice!! Rally, DM & Koala were really good, I want to hear them do it again!

Saturday was a bit of a blur but I do remember that I had fun We were really hoping that everyone would enjoy themselves as that is what it is all about. It seems you all did! By the way, we are definitely going to be doing the same thing next year with the hotel bookings as this year seemed to go well & meant that Tam & I could be different places & not tied to the reception area of the hotel I think the posters behind the reception desk worked quite well to let people know where we were

I hope we didn't embarass anyone too much to do with the forfeits.... I'm sorry if we did but mucho respect for not backing out! I *really* remember CJL's rendition of ice cube Hickory Dickory ...Dock! & my sheer horror when I realised that poor CoolKat's mum had been picked for the Dutch nursery rhyme reading

The staff & manager at the James Brindley were fantastic! Richard (Manager), T.C. (barman), Lucy (barwoman[?]) were all great & I think they did a great job of keeping everyone well er, lubricated

Sunday was the usual round of hearing people saying 'Oh my god I just remembered...' & 'I have a great pucture of you...' I can't believe the Brummie Taxi driver who slammed the side of Whist's car into the middle of next week, but glad you got it all sorted with the insurance to get you home hun.

Finally.... for everyone that came along from just down the road or from across the pond - thank you Not only did we have a fantastic time but we raised money for the site which means that we can have more competitions & it'll be a bit easier to pay for the server for a while Thank You All!

Mon & Chamb - thanks for putting up with the stresses, the running around & the general 'swan like' grace that is the annual party

Same time next year....? We'll keep you posted & alert you early for next years site T-Party.

I would like to point out that I only listed the people that I hadn't me before! And T you cant talk cause you couldnt remember me at first!
