All my aches are alcohol related
Alton Towers 2003 - How much do you ache?
Seems I am the first one on to post, and I'm not even home yet.
Anyhow, big thanks to Tam for taking on the organisation, Monster for doing the Dominos run on Saturday & the hotel manager, Andrew, who was ace and made the trip even more enjoyable.
I'm off to get some food as I am starving, but a big up to the rest of you who turned up.
Had an excellent time and great to meet some peeps again.
I'm sure that the goss will be posted later....

Yeah, I single handedly drank a whole bottle of Smirnoff and started on the cheap stuff, inadvertantly making YOU drunk as well as me.

Andrew the hotel manager rocks! - we need to go there again next year.
I don't ache, but I'm knackered as a very knackered thing.
I drank too much.
I slept too little.
I didn't get wet enough on Ripsaw.
This weekend rocks.
Piccies soon...

After getting on the train at about 3.15, I'm literally back in the last 15 minutes.
I..am..shattered.
The rides were superb Well, the ones that I went on. I think a mass thanks has to go to Tam for taking over the organisation, Mon, for the pizza run (To which you still owe me a fiver! )
T - Best..driver..ever It's always a ride and a half with her.
Y - Quite simply, I lu'you
PoF - Room buddy extradonaire, you the man mate, and thanks for the uhh...'favour
My mind is too much of a sham at the mo, but I'll be back

My hazy memories:
A near fatal 6 car pile up involving happy meals (well someone woman reversed into me but by the time we got to Derby it had been exaggerated out of control )
Almost having to do a u-turn on a dual carriage way ("SPIN IT!!!" )
Informing Sydney if she didnÂ’t get up to the room immediately weÂ’d drink her vodka. She must have sprinted up the stairs.
Y passed out like a star fish on the bed.
The girls great distraction skills.
Waking at 4am and wondering where the hell my roommates were.
Being surprised by Rich
The photos on the Black Hole and the conversations prior to riding it
Yvonnes amazing eating skills
Triple daring. I wish I wasnÂ’t so incourageable
"IÂ’m sleeping with the boys tonight!"
"Who put drugs in my drink? IÂ’m bouncing off the walls"
"Alex, is that your penis I see poking out of your shorts?"
"IÂ’m good at being quiet" but apparently IÂ’m not.
There was other stuff done/ mentioned/ suggested but these are not suitable for innocent eyes, lol
Hugs & kisses to all who were there. I miss you already

If you mail me your real-world address I can get that sorted ASAP. (I hate owing money)
I had a great time at the park despite getting SOAKED on the rip-saw, or maybe because of getting soaked on the rip-saw?!?!?
Thanks to all those who put up with my girly screams of terror on the various rides and the partial-nekkidness that ensued as Tam decided to ring the water out of my shirt post rip-saw.
I hope the weather (and the hotel... and the pizza) is as good next year too
Thanks to everyone who turned up! I had a great weekend, just what I need before the work kicks in
Anyway - thanks to Rich for starting the ball rolling and for being the designated driver on Saturday! It was nice to see you hon. Thanks also to Ethan for the lessons in music categorisation *smoochies* to teresa for being lovely as always and apologies to stoo for the late birthday pressie
On another note, I was thinking about sending a letter to the Holiday Inn head office type place to sing manager Andrew's praises as I really think he went out of his way to make the weekend great. What do you guys think? DM suggested we all kinda of put our names to it in some way, I thought that would be a great idea if we could do it - any ideas how? In any case I can always write something and post it on everyone's behalf. What does everyone think?

I think sending a letter would be a very good idea. We've all been to enough hotels and been given enough bad (or nonexistant) service to appreciate a cool guy exercising his own initiative instead of just blindly following "protocol".
And overall a fab weekend. I am *so* glad I went now! Met new and interesting people who will hopefully stay in contact; the weather was surprisingly good; I didn't get to go on as many rides as I might've liked (cos of prior commitments and unexpected little people), got to be a big kid on the little rides... Yeah, a fab weekend Thanks to those who organised it, to those who made it what it was, and to those who are really very cool individuals who shouldn't be dared to do anything

Not a problem hon, if anything it extended the happy birthday vibe a little

He really made a difference to the weekend, and some sort of "thank you" is really appropriate
They do have a "contact us" type thing here, but I think an actual letter might be even better, maybe to the senior people at holiday inn express recommending some sort of bonus?

"Alex, is that your penis I see poking out of your shorts?"
Um, this isn't my post, and it's also not the new shizzard, I'll do a proper post once I've woken from this strange trance-like state...
But in brief, very cool weekend (despite coming home to chaos). I've been LMAO at all the posts on this thread and the memories they brought back!

I forgot I asked to see it again

And you and your 'accomplice' didn't really 'ask' to see it again. At least not in a verbal way...
All I remember off the ripsaw was Y sitting next to me laughing all the way through. Was highly amusing and we got an extra damping down
