Blackpool: Last thread i promise!

PLEASE YELL IF YOU HAVEN'T RECEIVED THIS!

Ok, here's an e-mail i sent out. Please let me know if you haven't received cause there's things that have been deleted for securit reasons.

Hey Blackpool Goers

Ok, i know that you are all probably fed up of me sending e-mails about Blackpool - but this is the last one and is VERY IMPORTANT! I hope your all getting excited about it - i know i am (along with a healthy dollop of worry!) It's just 1 week away - doesn't time fly!

When you arrive at the hotel Friday or Saturday, PLEASE let me know you've arrived cause i'll have a clipboard and list and my system will be upset if you don't do as your told!! If you are arriving before 4:15pm on Friday then report to CoolKat - she's my deputy!

On Friday Night, i'm gonna book the restaurants at 8:00pm. I know it's later than i first said but this is because people are coming after work and will be arriving later but can still have food! So, if you will now be able to make it, then please tell me!! Also, let me know if anyone has any problems with eating at this time. Dinner will be at 7pm on Saturday.

Also, people coming by train on Friday or Saturday - i have e-mailed people who have given me a time confirming that i'm gonna pick them up. I've probably forgotten about someone so if you want me to pick you up from the station then e-mail!

Ok, well as you know we are going to the Pleasure Beach on Saturday. We will be leaving to go to the Pleasure Beach at 10:30am. EVERYONE must be ready to leave and if your not then you will have a very angry FG on yer hands! If you are coming up on the Saturday Morning then please make sure you get there in time

Now somethings about the hotel:
Sandpiper Hotel, Tangent21 or I cannot accept responsibilty for the loss of guest property unless handed in for safe custody of the hotel.
Deposits are not refundable but will be deducted from any claim for compensation arising out of any cancellation or curtailment of the contract.
In the case of non-arrival, the customer is eligible for two-thirds of the cost of the booking if the room isn't re-let.
The Sandpiper Hotel, Tangent21, or I will not be held responsible for any damages, breakages, and you will be all responsible for your own actions and behaviour
The Hotel Manager is a friend of someone on Tangent21 and we don't want anyone to change that (especially if we have another Blackpool Meet and we need somewhere to stay)
Please consider that there are others in the hotel and treat them with respect. Even though the hotel is filled with T21ers there will be hotels on either side and not all t21ers wanna be woken when you come in

Hey FG, is there any chance that you could post up some info about some clubs around Blackpool? We might be staying the saturday night now (will email you), and if we do we think we might hit the clubs. Its been about 2 years since I went clubbing in blackpool so could do with a refresher

No problem about the room hun, just let me know, I do have a friend with a hotel anyway

But would be good to have some info about clubs before we get there, especially dress codes, special nights etc; if possible.

Sydney You can lead the whore to culture but you can't make her think!

Club wise - everywhere is pretty strict dress code on a Saturday Night. Deffo no trainers or jeans and quite dressy for the Girls.

Waterfront - Is awful. Really Jam Packed and dead Hot. Full of not very nice people.

Springs - Is super cheesy but i'm not sure if you have to be a member (its a hotel club) but it doesn't get too busy so ideal for us if there's a lot of us go.

Heaven and Hell - Quite cheesy i think, but i'm not too sure about this one. Maybe FG knows. Beer likely to be expensive tho

Flares - 70s music ahoy. Not strictly speaking a club but its open till late and there are some good shooter and cocktail deals

Under The Station Pub - Can't remember the name of this place but its very dancy and very small!

Don't Know if this lot helps but its a start! If none of these sound appealing then there's loads of bars open till dead late so you may not even need to go clubbing.

Thanks Sydney, I have been to Heaven & Hell but it was a couple of years ago-it was very good when I went, but its probably changed now. No jeans for women either? Round here the dress codes have changed you see to fit in with fashion & jeans are allowed now.
Also what about Brannigans-do you go there, that used to be an ok pub with a dance floor.
Anyway, people who want to go clubbing should maybe state their preferences

There's a pub called the flying Handbag - Its a very rough gay bar. I really Wouldn't go there. Funny Girls is better if that's the sort of place you want to go to.

No jeans for women either? Round here the dress codes have changed you see to fit in with fashion & jeans are allowed now.

Short denim skirts are ok coz the Doormen are a pervs but i wouldn't risk proper jeans - even really smart ones coz some places are really strict.

As for preferences - i fancy somewhere cheesy but i'll go along with the crowd. I'm easy like that! (and no comments before anyone starts)

As for Clubs, there isn't really a dress code

Ones to avoid:
The Palace - there's no-one over 18 in there
Brannigans - it's really gone down - don't wanna go there

I'm not planning on bringing any smart clothes or proper shoes, so anywhere with a dress code is out for me. But I don't mind doing my own thing if people do go somewhere with a dress code.
