Well, i can't suggest a pub. This is going to be my first trip to London since I was 10 and my Grandad took me to go to Museums and look at Downing Street and Stuff. So I'll need looking after.

So, those going to Waterloo to watch the match, I suggest meeting somewhere central in the station itself. If I remember rightly there are huge display hanging from the ceiling displaying the next train times/platforms right in the middle of the concourse. I suggesting meeting under there. Any probs, use the mobile. Once we're all there we'll just hunt for the nearest pub with a TV.

For meeting at the Megabowl, we'll have to be there by 3:45 at the latest, especially as I've only paid for eight so some of you will have to pay there to join in. The rest of you owe me...

The receipt only tells me it's £8.50 per person for two games. No single game price. And work have barred me from going onto the web site to get the price, so I'll have to do that tomorrow.

are you sure its not £8.50 for 2 games? that sounds more like it as £17 for 2 games is really expensive even for london.

Soooooo how did it go - did everyone have fun?

Well, I've just got home from the post-bowling antics - been up for over 24 hours now...

Thanks to eveyone who made it - I thought we had a riot. Football (well, more drinking and betting Spike to do unmentionable things), Bowling, Drinking, Lazer Quest, Drinking. Oh, and more drinking. Lots of lovely photos were taken, whcih I then forgot to give to Taz to scan. Guess it means I'm gonna have to get my own scanner sorted out.

Anyway, I need to get some sleep.

Fun was had, booze was drunk, enemies were made (i will make you pay pof ). But best of all, sensei SPIKE promised to teach me the art of pulling so i will never sleep alone again although my attempt to put his 1st lesson into practice didnt go perfectly, maybe because of the lame example he set

Twas good fun, although my bowling abilities were seriously incapacitated the more beer I drank I started off quite well but after the first pint I was lucky to knock one pin down each turn Lazer Questing was fun, though I'm sure the little kids were ganging up on us!

All in all a grand day out

Um...then we went back to POF's place & drunk more beer...well, alcohol of some description anyway ... & generally just hung out

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable day

Well, the 'day' is now officially over. But what a hell of a time we all had!

It started with trying to gather up some energy to get out of bed and get to Waterloo whilst attempting to wipe-out the hangover from Friday night. Then there was drinking and watching of Football (where we managed to miss just about every goal!)

We then hopped on a train, where we met (and probably scared) a nice man with a curtain-rail! And then the bowling did commence! And there was a God! Flowers was his name! And Lo, he did strike down the mighty slayerfest with great vengeance and furious anger! And then he did run and hide cos the nasty man kept making scary faces!

Then there was some dance-machine action and some Laserquesting, before we retired to the hottest pub in the world ever ... EVER! Then it was all back to mine with armfuls of brightly colored alcoholic drinks, for a long but very interesting evening/night/morning in!

So yeah, as said before, a fantastic day. Muchos gracias to our organiser, and my doppelganger, Jayjay. And to all the attendees: Spike, Taz, White Hart, The Prophet, Slayerfest2k, Sange, Normsk and Syd. It was very groovy to meet you/see you again (delete as applicable).
