T21 invade Thorpe Park....April 11th 2004 *VENUE CHANGE!!*
It's been a while since we all went mad on the tea-cups so I thought I'd see who was up for a visit to Chessington. I've chosen 11th April as it's the day after Nos which should give people more of a reason to travel down to London and it makes the weekend more fun packed.
So do we have any yays, nays or maybes?? Opening times aren't up on the site yet and neither are prices. The park will be open though as it opens for the year on March 27th.

Is it wise to organise a theme park meet on Easter Sunday?
I won't be able to come... which is a shame as I always manage to miss the southern theme park meets

Posted: 13:53 Mar 16 2004 I didn't really think about the Easter Sunday thing...although it'll either mean it's really busy because everyones taken their kids there for the day or really quiet as they're all doing family stuff. The date was chosen mainly to tie in with Nos and because quite a few people are talking about going next month so we should get a decent crowd together.

Plus there's the proposed Norfolk meet which is scheduled for the following weekend.

I *might* be able to come to this - it's Georgia's 3rd birthday on the Monday so I could take her to Chessington for the day as well

I don't know! It sounds fun, but I suspect I may be in Yorkshire that weekend. I Nos really on Easter Saturday in April? Most odd.
