A nostalgic meet?
Just lately, maybe due to me getting older, i've been looking back a lot on the good old meets we used to have. Although Nos nights began to get a bit poo, years ago they were great fun and I think most of you who went to them would agree.
I know Pages is now closed, but you have 'The Westmister' in its place, although I don't think its open Saturdays, I shall have to look into it, but it'd be cool if we went The Admiral then The Westminster, like we used to. Firstly I just want to see if there would be any interest in this I'd also like to try and invite as many oldies as I can. People who no longer post here but used to go to Nos nights, it'd be great to catch up with some people i've not seen in a long long time. I know some people have gone their own ways, and fallen out with others, but I think it'd just be good to have a meet like we used to years ago with lots of old faces too.
So, would anyone actually be interested in this? I just wanna get a feel for numbers first before then asking the others who no longer post. Also if 'The Westminster' is closed on Saturdays and it'd cost too much to private hire, we could then look into somewhere else to go. So anyone be interested?

When would be a good time for everyone then? I don't think too soon, also I know there are a few other things comng up, such as Alton towers so can't do it too close to then.

I'd be up for this but I can tell you know The Westminster is definitely closed on a Saturday. I go past it often enough.

I'd be interested. Anywhere that's only a small fall from a tube would be ideal (although I'm sure I could persuade some girls into sharing a cab )

hmm ok, well how would the 17th of June be for people? Thats a good months notice, theres a good response from people. Also I shall enquire into the Westminster opening for us, I doubt they will unless there was a large number, and even then it may cost us, but if anyone has a good idea of somewhee else to go please mention it in here, also if anyone is in contact with any old yukkers or t21'ers let them know and see if they are up for it, i'll do the best I can asking people I still have contact details for, but also you guys could help convince people to show. I mainly wanna make this a meet to see some old faces and catch up with people

i think its a good idea, but the summer months are always tricky with all the cons and stuff going on. It's unlikely I'd make the 17th June.
Maybe looking at something a bit further away a christmas meet would be a good idea. christmas nos nights were always packed out and if you can get organised and spread the word early then people wouldn't have made alternative plans. If you make it the first weekend in December most people will have recently been paid

17th June would be fine with me but if Y and Gerri can't make it then I won't either. It's not that I don't like anyone else, lol. Y is just my security blanket 'tho I would have settled for Gerri
