There's quite a few places round here but no one really likes to travel away from central *shrug* which is understandable[read as: please dont attack me] it's easier for everyone to get to and from, but then saying that Steam Engine was a trek and everyone still made the effort for that place.
Karaoke
Right guys, we really need to find a good new karaoke place like the steam engine on a Saturday night. I'm gonna have a browse on the net to try to find somewhere that does karaoke on Saturday nights but which isn't too busy. The good thing with the steam engine is that we all had a chance to get a couple of songs in, so i'm gonna search about for somewhere similar. If any of you can suggest any cool karaoke places though, jot them down here!

I've been having a bit of a look, and the majoity of ones I have found are kind of out of the way. The two I looked at which seemed ok and not as far as the others were Hammersmith and Bounds Green, all the others were miles out or in really dodgy areas. I think we should deffinitly consider the ones near you too, especially if you've been to them and recommend them!
Well, I had a quick surk for Karaoke in London before last weekends meet up, just in case. Found three places in reasonably central locations, but got the impression that these are Karaoke only venues - ie. you book beforehand and have a booth to yourselves. May even have to pay to get in, so not sure if this is what you want...
Anyway, here's what I found:
