If you go a day early you are still in the Adrenaline week which means you get tickets for 20 pounds for an adult and 16 quid for kids.

If you wanted to stay you can get a nice discount on the B&B rate if you quote "GDD" but besides that I'm not aware of any BOGOF offers at the moment.

Unfortunatley my dates aint moveable, so Saturday it is.
I have managed to get hold of some vouchers from Woolworths that'll come in handy though.

So, as it's my first time, can anyone reccomend the best way to do the park.

What rides are a must?
What's not worth bothering about?
How long is the drive from London (i'm the designated driver - YIPPEE!)

Any info or advice is appreciated.

Get there at a reasonable time and head straight to the area where Nemesis is. The best rides are in that section and most people operate front to back when doing the park so it gets busier the later it gets.

Wear comfy shoes coz you'll be walking ALOT.

Nemesis is an absolute must... If you haven't been before then its definately worth the extra wait so you can sit at the front. Air is pretty good and Ripsaw is great if you need waking up a bit.

Pinball whizzer looks a bit crap but is actually rather good. If the queue for Oblivion is too long then just skip it - you won't be missing much and the ride is over in about 3 seconds so it's just not worth the wait. And you must go on the Teacups!

Food wise, near the teacups and the Impereal Leather water ride there's a pub that opens into a big courtyard where they have a BBQ style set up. This is easily the best food and the best value in the park, tho there's McDonalds for the unadventurous

The drive from London will be somewhere in the region of 2.5 to 3 hours I'm guessing if you are going straight to the park.

Obviously this is massively dependant on weekend traffic and roadworks etc.

A splendind time was had by all.
We only waited 10 mins for the big rides, and others we just walked straight on.

Nemesis & Rita Queen of speed were probably the best.
I liked Oblivion too (probably cos we only queued for 7 mins).
