Try the Home Office website - there should be links to Employment stuff from there and they're pretty good about documentling legislation. Its abit dry though so you may want to find somewhere a little more user friendly.
Redunduncy Question
As you know,My Mum and Uncle are losing their jobs at the end of the month.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a website that tells you your redunduncy rights. So they get everything they are entitled to. Thanks.

I had to give someone their notice last year and so did some research into statutory redundancy payments:
This page on the DTI website is pretty comprehensive about who is entitled to what by law:
www.dti.gov.uk/er/redundancy/payments-pl808.htm
This deals with the income tax and NI on redundancy payments:
www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/pdfs/ir143.htm
FREE HELPLINE
A free helpline is available to answer any of your queries and the number to ring is 0500 848 489.
It would be worth having a good read through of their employment contracts as well.
