I suffer from Emetophobia, I am very phobic about being sick, but even more so about people vomiting near me. No idea where it came from or why...but I have always had it, even as a baby I would scream & cry before being sick

drowning...and going on a boat..also fire

Spiders - they just have too many legs!

Also, I think I may have just developed a phobia of Hairdressers!

Fish - I can't stand thier eyes.
It doesn't matter if their swimming happily in a tank or about to be devoured on a plate. Friends who know this take great plesure in ordering "whitebait" (tiny little fish you eat whole) when its on the menu in restuarants.

i'm afraid of a few things but spiders and horses are the only ones i will admit. I'm okay with heights as long as i have something to hold onto

where do i start?

i hate spiders in fact most bugs,they are like ewwwwww.
i dont like being in dark places with a lot of people or lifts,aeroplanes or boats.i am scared of dying and a really weird phobia i have always had,i hate being upside down.

A ha! Someone else with a fish phobia, people alays look at me like i'm mad when i tell them that fish freak me out.

My other phobia is really wierd and i don't know anyone else with it but i can't stand seeeing men shave. It makes me physically sick. It doesn't matter whether its with a open blade razor or a nice safe banded job with safety wires. I have to shut my eyes when the gillette adverts come on to the TV!

All the normal stuff - heights, spiders, water etc don't bother me at all.

Spiders... eurgh shudders, rocks back and forward with very big eyes. Had to be saved from a 'tarantula' on the wall this weekend (it was very, very large... possibly the size of China... i'm entirely rational when it comes to the evil beasties ). If i end up in a house next time, rather than a couple of flights up and spider-free, the spider thing is going to freak me hugely, and i will need my knight in shiny armour to save me if he's not feeling too lazy.

erm biggest phobia is definatly spiders (does that make me less of a man? infact wait dont answer that!! ) erm i also have a fear of birds flying over my head i mean i couldnt care less if theyre on the ground just not flying!

Am I the only person that thinks that wasps are the physical embodiment of pure evil? And proof irrefutable that, if there is a god, then he or she is not benevolent.

Oh, for the record I have a completely rational hatred of spiders, bees, long-legged-flying-things, moths, maggots, anything squishy and wriggly, heights, Chesney Hawks and the aforementioned Evil Alien Race of Wasps (invasion pending).

Did you not see the look on my face when I saw what the song was? No, this is a life-long phobia based on good taste and an over-sensitive stomach.

And here i thought men were all big, brave and butch, and you's all scared of little buggy things!!
