I hope that she's ok SPIKE and just maybe overworked. Keep telling her that she should take it easy and maybe go to her union if she is under undue pressure. Most of all just let her know you're there for her.
my mother
sometimes i really worry about her, for like the past 10 years shes not been in good health. shes had agonising toothache that the dentists couldn't solve for years and she admits now she was close to suicide, then several times serious back ache which has lasted years coming and going. anyway the last year and a half shes had this thing where shes constantly dizzy called labrythitus, it can take years to go, its an infection in the inner ear which disoprientates tyou and makes you sick. for a long time she couldn't drive and was off work for ages. so it started to get a bit better but now its started to get bad again. i think its due to stress that these things start, shes had a lot of pressure at work, she does too much and i tell her to say something to her boss, buut hes like a real nasty bloke abnd she won't even go to the union. anyway also now shes been getting a weird twitching in one eye and it often goes droopy which is evidently a sighn of a tumour or something and basically i'm jsut worried about her.

Sorry to hear about this mate. Any chance you could convince her to go to a doctor and to get them to give her a note so that she can take a break from work? One place I worked, a girl got five weeks off work, paid, for stress.
It might allow her to get the break she needs to sort her head out, and then when she returns she might be able to face up to her boss, and get the Union in if needed.

I'm not a qualified doctor, but I would say that IMHO an Osteopath could look at these issues - it sounds like it may be a problem with the 'TRIGEMINAL NERVE' a large nerve that runs down the whole of the side of the face. The toothace could be reflected pain, ans the trigeminal nerve runs into the jaw line.
An osteopath who also does 'Cranial Osteopathy' would be the best sort to go to.
It is expensive (approx £23-35 per session) but it will also help with the stress, and if it helps take away all these niggly health problems surely it's worth it???
I have found Opseopathic treatment, and acupuncture, to be the two most effective hands on treatments I have ever had.
I really hope your mum feels better soon SPIKE

Keep your chin up and I'm sending hugs to you all

Just to echo everyone's sentiments: Wishing her well soon, and also, recommending a visit to her doctor. *hugs* to you and your mum.
Its difficult for a mum to take advise from their children, just try to be as supportive as you can. If she has to deal with getting stressed at work, tyr to lighten it when she's home.
Help her out whenever you can, anything from helping with housework to just making her a cup of tea.

It's nice that your mum has such a loving son Try not to get too down about it, though. Just be there for her and I'm sure everything will be fine
Be very gentle with your mother and patient but the next time she seems really unsteady suggest she visit a doctor. As Jayjay said, the doctor may recognise her need for rest and sign her off which could be a blessing in disguise. It could be that she's trying to busy herself to take her mind off feeling unwell and just going round in circles.
Has your mum ever had a cat scan or mri scan at all?
Hope she gets better.
