my Grandad whos only about 65 has cancer on his arm which has been there for 7 years and only decided to get it checked the other day coz its the size of a rugby ball. its too big to cut out unless they can shrink it, but they told him its quite likely they may need to remove the arm. thing is, hes a very active man, does lots of exercise, weight training, rides his bike, does a lot of DIY. it'll totally change his life. even things like eating and getting dressed
