I want that phone

Ohhhh I *love* adverts!

My al time favourite is one that nobody can remember.. its an ad for Woothworths at Easter time. Theres a chap sitting at his desk at work and the phone rings. Appears its his partner and hes whispering in the phone "Yes I got the eggs, yes they are *looks round over his shoulder* in the woolworths bag.... no dear no... w-o-o-l-w-o-r-t-h-s bag, wool - woolworths. No the woolworths bag, woolworths...
IN THE WOOLWORTHSBAG!" and then slams the phone down and all the office stops and looks at him and he says "wrong number" or something. Too funny

Also the Guiness ad with the guy dancing round the pint glass

So do I, apparently Bt are releasing that phone in the next few months, How much do you reckon they'll charge us for that.

I can't say I have an all time favorite advert , but I do have one that sticks in my mind more than any other

It's an advert from ooo must be about 25 years ago now and it was for Williams... the jingle was "When you walk through the door, your pounds worth more, at Williams where else" now if anyone is as old as me and can rember that advert well lets just say we would always replace the "pound" with another word (family friendly so better not say) and to jog your memory it was a guy with ermmm very tight clothing on

I liked the one that was on MTV when the guy's phone rings and all the girls come in and start dancing. Then, when the ringing stops they all disappear. So, the guy, in a welsh accent, says, "Keanu, call me, call me on my mobile" Has me in stitches everytime.

The John West Salmon ad where the guy fights the bear (which I have here)

I like the Whiskas Kitten advert, coz that kitten is just *sooooooooooooo* cute,it's little meow at the end, awwwww. I love it.

The tango ones are quite amusing too, where the guys fills an air bed with oranges and the porcupine pops it, LMAO

I used to love all the Hamlet ones, they were really funny, especially the one where the bloke was in the outside lav and an Andrex-type puppy ran away with the loo roll (one for our older T21-ers!)

At the moment I like the Have a Break ones for Kit Kats. One I found really funny I've only seen once - the one where the guy is having his tarot cards read and each one is worse than the one before... The enthusiastic look on the bloke's face and the horrified look on the fortune teller's as she wonders what she's going to say... priceless!

I loved the Imperial Leather one that was on a few months back - starts out all soft focus and dreamy music with girl in shower, then some of the lather from her shower gel drops onto the rubber duckie that's on the floor of the bath and the music changes to Disco Inferno and the duck starts dancing. Love it!
I like the Karma Chameleon one too, though I'm not sure I'd go so far as to buy the phone - it'd drive me mad after a couple of days.
The flying pigs ones are pretty good too, for Zurich.

I also like the wkd ads, there's two in particular, the one where they lock a bloke in a lift with a fake wall, and he shouts for help, and the best is where thay are all in a shower and keep putting shampoo on the mans head when he is not looking.

The Diet Coke ads with the 11am Diet Coke break, for some reason held a strong fascination. I have *no* idea why.

I always liked the Holsten Pils ones with Jeff Goldblum and later on Dennis Leary the budweiser lizards were good (notice the beer theme)

And yeah the Karma one from BT is great

One fave at the moment ... the mobile phone advert. Table full of guys mocking the 'old style' phone, who could have the latest ringtones, the newest covers. And the guys put a mug over his head and he falls off the table.

I feel so sorry for that phone, yet LMAO at the same time at the advert

My fav one of the moment is still the Irn Bru one with the old lady who ram-raids the supermarket on her motorised wheelchair thing.

"Step away from the vehicle!"

The other, or recent months, is for Clarks shoes where the woman is too busy looking at her new shoes through a glass-topped table and completely forgets the table is there when she bends down to investigate a mark or summat on her shoe and ends up banging her head. The timing of that always has me in stitches!

I love the Bacardi Breezer ad with the cat doing the whole Matrix thing with 'bullet time' and everything.

Spicy super noodles if i remember rightly. definately supernoodles of some description

I love that chameleon phone, and probably would buy one, if they weren't too expensive (like that's going to happen!).
My dad says there's a great ad on at the mo for a computer-type company called EDS, where cowboys are herding cats instead of cattle. I still haven't seen it, though
