At first i thought the usual, 'it's his teeth' but then i realised he was still asleep, and there were no teething signs, I tried bottle, calpol, nappy, you know the lot, but still he was in a state, really clinging and screaming, in a different way than usual. Then suddenly he was asleep again, as quick as it started it finished. Thinking about it, I wondered could it be that he's had a nightmare?? And if so what do babies nightmare about, it can't be monsters, or the usual, because they just don't know about that sort of thing. Maybe he dreamt his bottle was late or something. Any ideas

Mine have all gone through " Night Terrors " but generally it tends to be once they hit about 18 months ( something to do with them suddenly becoming aware of their surroundings )
Never had one act in the way you discribe early on , then again they are all different , as ya say probably thought someone had taken his Bottle
