The BBC reports that scientists have discovered an asteroid which based on current estimates of its orbit will collide with earth on February 1st 2019. Yikes.

Now before you all panic, in reality, they do add that their readings of its position are probably inaccurate and that over coming weeks they will be able to accurately calculate it, and god willing, it wont actually be on a collision course with us.

Even so, what if it is? I suppose we've got till 2019 to send Bruce Willis to land on it and blow it up?
