Weird is almost always a compliment. Except from morons who seem to think that there is such thing as normal (and to them - because they're weird in a bad way for thinking that normal is desirable and weird is wrong). This sounds angrier than I mean it to, basically weird = good, normal = non existant

'normal' is what you are to yourself, you are your own normal. 'weird' is someone who is different, now to non-morons you would be different but they wouldn't point that out beause they are obvously different to you, thus they are 'different.' To morons, you're weird

Up here, at your age normal is considered to be wearing a matching Lacoste tracksuit, Reebok Classics and black argyle socks with your trousers tucked into them - baseball hat optional!! You definitely don't want to be normal up here!

i don't take the word 'weird' too seriously at all. i always call people, inc. myself, weird heh...coz..i do weird stuff sometimes...that being weird coz uhh...

Well im an essex girl so I guess you can make up your own decision about what normal is around here.
Plus the person who said it to me is a real extrovert, whilst I'm more blendy and quiet
I don't want to be like her anyway, so i'll take it as a compliment

I dont know anyone who isnt wierd in some way, maybe I should worry lol. Wierd is good take it as a compliment! Like my cousin always says if everyone was the same and no-one was wierd or different wouldnt it be a boring world!

I would definately take being called wierd as a compliment seeing as everyone is wierd compared to everyone else as everyone is different

Being "wierd" is definately more fun as I have been called wierd on numerous occasions, but I still like myself and my life so I've decided that I quite like being wierd

Yep! Weird is good! After all, surely 'weird' is just another way of saying 'unique', and that's usually used in a complimentary way.

I get called weird all the time though no-one ever takes the time to tell me why Im weird or what it is i do that odd but i ALWAYS take it as a compliment and that always pisses off the people who mean it as a verbal attack.
the things i do to me are normal its the friends, family and other observers that call you/me their definition of "weird" but i like it, it better then being stereotyped and shoved into a catagory.

I've been called weird most of my life for one reason or another and I stopped thinking it was a bad thing a long time ago. The best thing is just to be yourself, and if people think that's 'weird', well, that's their problem!
