l'image des fleurs va au revoir

Well, I was gonna just sneak out quietly and see just how many people actually noticed I was gone. But then I changed my mind. Just on the off-chance that people do try to contact me over the next week I thought I should give some sort of explanantion for why I'm not responding!

Errrm, I'm in France! Well, not yet, but I will be by the very early hours of tomorrow morning. So I'll be offline for a week and a half-ish. I'm not even sure if my phone will work over there so I could well be completely isolated from all the freaks here (no offence to anyone)! I might even come back sane! Scary thought, though not very likely.

So, yeah. See you on the other side.....

Jayjay - thanks for the tips. They only failed me once. When I tried to buy stamps, the guy in the post office just stared at me with a look of confusion and loathing as I told him that Pain au chocolat is yummy!

So I didn't bother!

Thanks to the people who kept me sane while I was out there. Not knowing a word of French I spoke very little for the whole week and a bit that I was out there. So I'm probably even more unelloquent and monosyllabic now than I was before. So next time you see me if I just communicate in a series of grunts and hand gestures, then forgive me. Or slap me. Whichever.
