It's always a nightmare when things like that happen. When we were out on Saturday night this guy started on my brother and his wife...it got split up quite quickly though. Hope he's okay as getting glassed is not a good thing to happen to anyone.
Why are people so horrible??
I went out on Friday night with a load of mates, that lad was there remember the man whore type person?? It was a dead good night apart from the fact that he was with some other girl( grrr) Well anyways after I left him at the pub with some other people some lad started on him and he got glassed I didnt find out until today and I cant get hold of him
Why do people do stuff like that, what is the need????????

This seems to happen so much more often these days. I know a number of people who have been attacked, or know people who have been attacked without any provocation at all.
I heard today about a student who was attacked by a youth in the street with a stanley knife for absolutely no reason at all (except, I imagine, to impress the youth's friends who were hanging round outside the same off license)
Hope your friend is okay.

Attacks on people, Vandalism ect its all pointless.
These People think they are better than others and like showing off. Personally I think they are a waste of oxygen.

Yup life sucks BIG time with all this happening.
Len's classes have seen an increase in students because of it and parents want their children to be able to defend themselves.
We live in a sorry sorry world

This happened at my 18th birthday party. All was going well, it was about an hour before the end and a lad (who I didn't know) came in and saw his girlfriend talking to another chap and he just went for him, broke a pint glass and went crazy stabbing him. Mum ended up wrapping this poor lads arm in a tea towel while she drove him to casualty.
Its an awful thing, and stories things like glassing/knives give me the shivers, and normally they hightlight how quickly and how unprovoked things like that happen
Unfortunately some people just get off on fighting and when they are in the mood then no-one is safe. I have a 6" scar on my left shin because of an encounter with a pair of these types.
Unfortunately these people are also rather skilled at not getting caught too

It also seems that the age of these people is getting younger , a few weeks ago my next door neighbours boy who is 10 was started on by another 10 year old , when he stood up for himself the other boys brother who is 12 also started and while he was knocked to the ground the eldest boy repeatedly kicked him in the head, it was found out later that both brothers were also carrying Knives god knows what could have happened
Oh thats horrible. I hope he is ok! That kind of behaviour seems to be acceptable, even fun, to some people, and usually too much alcohol is involved somewhere. I was once smacked in the face with a beer can (Newcastle Brown actually, if I remember rightly!) because a girl thought I had stolen her cardigan from her washing line! She was definitely the worse for wear for drink. It was a bit surreal, now I think about it.
I still dont know if hes alright or anything, ive texted him about a million times and tried to phone him , even his best mate hasnt got a clue people suck
