Need I say more??
excellent idea
ok i nkow this may seem mean so bare with me. if i put a spider in a microwave it'll become radioactive, then i get it to bite me and i'm spiderman. i nkow it'd most likely die so i need a way to amke sure it doesn't. also you may think its cruel to the spider, but one spdiers life to make a super hero who can save the world. think about it, tis worth it.

Go ahead Spike. Assuming you don't actually turn the microwave on (which would probably kill it), I'd suggest one of these.

Slight problem with that thoery - Microwaves aren't radioactive.
A microwave oven uses microwaves to heat food. Microwaves are radio waves. In the case of microwave ovens, the commonly used radio wave frequency is roughly 2,500 megahertz (2.5 gigahertz). Radio waves in this frequency range have an interesting property: they are absorbed by water, fats and sugars. When they are absorbed they are converted directly into atomic motion - heat.
Thus boiling the spider in it's own juices. Nice.
For posterity have a few of these:

And anyway, everyone knows that radioactive spiders are sooo passe. It's genetically modified ones these days.
wow cool spiders dan. ok so what about when you put metal in a microwave i thoguht that caused radiation and then for te microwave to explode, i guy i worked with put a few cans of baked beans in his and kaboom!!! blew up half the kitchen.
I'd personally advise you to climb inside the microwave WITH the spider. If you survive the cooking you may find out you have superpowers just like you hoped, AND you'll have proved yourself worthy to wield them. You might even get the guy from Nickelback to sing you a alt.county.rock theme tune of your very own!!!
BUT (and here's the disclaimer part, no liability, complete moron, yadda yadda yadda)... It's infinitely more likely you'll die a horrific painful death, but if you don't try you'll never know!!!

Oooh!!! You'll need to get some shrinking powers first, so you can shrink yourself small enough to fit in the microwave.
Anyone know how to get shrinking powers?

I've known Spike as long as these guys and so understand the reaction but as i've not been around for a while, like you Lori, i'm laughing myself silly at this moment in time.

Btw SPIKE, I thought your suggestion was quite funny, but then again... I don't know you as well as these guys do.
Cheers Spike, you've brightened up my day
How about a Monty-Python-esque Boot?

you can get industrial sized microwaves that are big enough for people to get in to. I watched a programme once about a serial killer who used one...
For the record, never put an unopened egg in the microwave.
Whilst the scrabled egg covering the entire kitchen is initially funny, the resulting bill for the new microwave is less so.

I'm sure Len would oblige with an axe
