The Wildhearts - Any track
I want to learn the ways of the force.....
I'm sort of stuck in a rut just now musically wise and would love to hear some new and exciting stuff so I want to know what you guys are listening to/think I should listen to.
I've got a pretty varied taste of music so if you give me a song name and band name I'll download it and tell you what I think.
Please no Will Young or Gareth Gates though

Anything by Lemon Jelly (In The Bath is a good one) or anything by Nightmares On Wax (particular fave of mine is Les Nuits)
Have you seen the video to 6? It's amusing.

Tenacious D - Track 5&6 ( i laughed so hard and the other people on the bus didnt appriciate it )
Lambchop - Grumpus
Belle and Sebastian - Sleep the Clock Around (I love this tune!)
Eels - Mr E's Beautiful Blues
Ernest Ranglin - Surfin' (from Studio One Rockers)
Aimee Mann - Wise Up
Emiliana Torrini - Stephanie Says
Laika - Good Looking Blues
Os Mutantes - Top Top (this is fsck'ed but good!)
Weather Report - Birdland
Other stuff generally that is all good stuff I would say: Air, Groove Armarda, Morcheeba, Portishead and Lambchop.

Most of the latest New Found Glory album
Weezer - Keep Fishin'
InMe - Underdose

I agree with all of the above, Ive really started to like InMe especially Firefly! I finally bought the Avril Lavigne album and thats amazing. Also Incubus- Certain shade of Green, Less than Jake- Gainsville rock city, No use for a name- Chasing Rainbows, New found glory- Dressed to kill and Hit or miss.

I just love "Pixies - Where is my mind?" what a top tune. Got a cover of it by "Nada Surf" that is quite good too.

The Pixies - Gigantic
Go to www.frakkture.co.uk they've got new stuff that maybe inspiring to you.
im quite ecletic in taste but here goes
female vocals-
sugababes-angels with dirty faces. they are much darker more adult and soulful in feel now.with excellent harmonies and good lyrics
Pink-missundaztood- a brilliant album with a rock feel
Kosheen-very ambiant haunting vocals and a slowtrancybeat.
Harry-think a 21st century debbie harry meets Pink meets 90s garbage
male vocals
Disturbed-Belief amazing clear and emotive vocals, heavy almost classic metal stylemusic
Korn-untouchables- if you want to get into them now theyve updated their style abit after J.Davies did the queen of the damned soundtrack. now their more melodic altho the angst and power are still there.
thats all i can think of right now
